Sri Lanka outplayed Oman by 10 wickets in the 11th match of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023 in group B as the latter were bowled out for 99 runs and the Islanders chased the target of 100 runs in the 15th over at the Queens Sports Club on Friday.
On the other hand in the 12th match in group B, Scotland defeated UAE by 111 runs as they posted a target of 283 courtesy of their captain Richie Berrington’s 127 runs off 139 with 12 boundaries. Team UAE was all out for 171 runs in reply at the Bulawayo Athletic Club Sports Ground.

The top three teams from each group will move on to the Super Six stage, where they will only play the sides they did not meet in the group stage.
All points won in the group stage will be carried over to the Super Six stage apart from those gained against the teams that fail to make it to the Super Six stage. The finalists will both progress to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
